Rabat - Arab Today

Attijariwafa Bank (AWB) has just signed two memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Defense of Côte d’Ivoire with the aim of improving working and living conditions in the Armed Forces of Côte d’Ivoire (FACI).

These two important partnership agreements concern the financing of the Hexagone Project and the establishment of a credit granting scheme advantageous to the financing of main housing units for the benefit of the military of the Ivorian Armed Forces.

The signing took place in the presence of King Mohammed VI as well as Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara. The 1st Memorandum of Understanding deals with the arrangement and participation in the financing of the Hexagon Project, relating to the construction and equipping of the New General Staff of the Ivorian Armed Forces as well as two new Military Camps.

Attijariwafa Bank Group aims to accompany the Ivorian Ministry of Defense in the relocation of its general staff, enabling it to have modern infrastructures suitable for its operations.

The second Memorandum of Understanding deals with the setting up of a credit granting scheme for the financing of main housing units for the benefit of members of the Armed Forces of Ivory Coast under favorable conditions of financing and treatment.

Attijariwafa Bank Group will thus contribute to the military’s access to property and to the improvement of their living conditions.
