His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Middle East and North Africa Mohammad Al Tuwaijri.
HRH Premier appreciated the role played by HSBC Bank in supporting the banking sector in the kingdom, and praised its landmark contributions and efforts to provide training and job opportunities for Bahrainis.
He praised HSBC Management's constant keenness to develop its operations in Bahrain.
HRH Premier highlighted HSBC's distinguished status at the global arena, being one of the leading financial and banking institutions in the world.
Mohammad Al Tuwaijri lauded the facilities and incentives provided by the government, led by HRH the Prime Minister, praising the kingdom's laws and financial and banking systems that help it host mega banking institutions.
He praised the kingdom's positive and stimulating economic and investment environment, which, he said, has entitled it to be a centre for launching business and banking investments in the region.
He also informed HRH Premier on HSBC Bank's current and future policies and programmes.
