The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Almoayed, First Deputy Chairman Othman Sharif Al Rayes and Chief Executive Nabeel Abdulrahman Al-Mahmood took part in the 45th meeting of the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC), held in Qatar under the chairmanship of the Chairman of FGCCC and Qatar Chamber Shaikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, in the presence of Heads of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The meeting, which coincides with the 35th session of the GCC Supreme Council Summit, addressed a number of topics pertaining to FGCCC and GCC private sector during 2014, which affirms the cohesion between GCC private sector and leaders.
The meeting tackled the mechanisms of strengthening joint cooperation between FGCCC's General Secretariat and GCC General Secretariat so as to drive the march of economic integration and unity and promote the private sector's role in economic development in serving the Gulf economy.
A visual presentation about the mechanism of cooperation with GCC Customs Union was displayed along with reviewing the recommendation of previous meeting, FGCCC's economic events with the GCC bodies, establishments, organisations and General Secretariat for 2015.
