The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the short-term Islamic leasing bonds, Sukuk Al-Ijara, has been oversubscribed by 135%.Subscriptions worth BD 27 million were received for the BD 20 million issue amount, which carries a maturity of 182 days.The expected return on the issue, which begins on 17 November 2011 matures on 17 May 2012, is 0.95%.The Sukuk Al-Ijara is issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.This is issue No.75 (H788911) of the short-term Sukuk Al-Ijara series.
