National Bank of Fujairah
Fujairah - WAM

The National Bank of Fujairah, NBF, today announced that it has been awarded the accolade of 'Outstanding Employer' in the Middle East at the Korn Ferry Employee Engagement Awards.

The award reflects the increased levels of engagement achieved over the last 7 years, which have led to improvements in the bank’s customer service and financial performance.

Research by Korn Ferry, a global people and organisational advisory firm, has revealed that employee engagement is an important pillar within any company given its direct impact on productivity and performance. As such, the award seeks to recognise those organisations who have built best-in-class levels of engagement within the regions they operate.

Commenting on the occasion, NBF’s CEO, Vince Cook, said, "It is very heartening to see the bank's efforts acknowledged by such a well-regarded global professional business. It is particularly significant to be singled out as the only bank in the Middle East recognised as an outstanding employer for 2017, reflecting the exceptionally high levels of engagement among our employees."

Vijay Gandhi, Regional Director – EMEA at Korn Ferry, said, "The last seven years have seen NBF truly emerge as a people’s organisation and credit goes to the leadership and HR team for believing in their people and transforming the business together. It’s refreshing to see the innovative ways in which NBF has driven employee engagement across the business and this award is a reflection of the commitment that NBF has made to its people. We wish them well and look forward to future successes."
