Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has launched "Aamaly", a new program dedicated specifically to providing special services to the country s small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), offering them financial benefits, guidance and advice. At an exclusive launch dinner held at the Doha Four Seasons Hotel last night, Ahmad Meshari, QIB s acting CEO informed the guests about the new service and stressed on the importance of QIB s exclusive new program that will support SMEs and goes in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. Meanwhile, Basem Shahrouri, QIB s Head of Business Banking spoke extensively about Aamaly program and the benefits for SMEs that will include: dedicated relationship managers, special SME-centric banking centers, 24-hour banking, payroll services, cash and cheque collection, overnight vaulting and time deposits, together with flexible lending and financing options. "By committing QR1 bn of funding to Aamaly, SMEs can be sure that they will get unprecedented attention and an unparalleled level of service so they can concentrate on their businesses, rather than worry about their financial requirements," Shahrouri concluded. QIB was established in 1982 as a Qatari shareholding company and was listed on the Qatar Exchange in 1997. It provides banking services in accordance with the provisions of Islamic Shari'a.
