The Central Bank of Egypt on Tuesday ended foreign currency caps on individuals.
According to a press release, the CBE said restrictions on companies remain the same. In February 2015, the CBE had imposed limits on foreign currency deposits of $10,000 daily, in an attempt to eradicate a foreign currency black market and tackle the country's foreign exchange crisis.
