Turkey's Central Bank reserves decreased nearly by US$124 million to US$127.9 billion in the week leading up to March 14, according to weekly Central Bank figures on Thursday.The Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves were up by nearly US$246 million and reached US$107.6 billion.Gold reserves decreased by US$370 million during the week and remained at US$20.8 billion.Turkish banks' loan volume risesTurkey's banks loaned a total volume of 1.053 trillion Turkish lira (US$470 billion) between March 7-14, Turkey's Central Bank said in its weekly bulletin Thursday.The credit volume stood at 1.04 trillion Turkish lira as of March 7, increasing by 7.1 billion Turkish lira (US$3.16 billion) in a week.The overall credit volume, excluding financials, totalled 1.032 trillion Turkish lira (US$460.8 billion).
