The expectation for the year-end annual CPI increased to 7.62 percent in the survey of Turkish Central Bank for the the first half of May.ISTANBUL The expectation for the year-end annual consumer price index (CPI) increased to 7.62 percent in the survey of Turkish Central Bank for the first half of May. In the second term of April the expectation was 7.61 percent. Central Bank's survey is to detect the expectations of experts and professionals from the financial and real sectors. The survey is conducted twice a month, May's first half results are revealed. In the survey for second half of April, the current account deficit expectation was 64,982.4 million USD and it increased to 65,590.7 million USD. Year-end expectation for USD exchange rate has dropped to 1.7912 Turkish lira. In second half of April, the expectation was 1.7969 Turkish lira.Gross domestic product, which had been set as 3.7 percent in the second half survey of April, dropped to 3.6 percent in the first half survey of May.
