World union of Arab banks head arrives in Cairo

Head of the World Union of Arab Banks Joseph Torbey arrived here on Sunday to take part in the Arab banking conference, to open on Monday under the sponsorship of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
The conference, under the theme of Finance for Development, will discuss mobilizing financial resources for development, financing small and medium-sized projects and necessary mechanisms to encourage investments.
Participants will also discuss regulating Arab development assistance and economic and legislative reforms in Egypt.
