Average yields declined at an auction of LE6 billion of 3-month and 9-month treasury bills on Sunday, the finance ministry said. The average yield on the 3-month T-bills was 14.372 per cent, down from 14.498 per cent at last week's auction. On the 9-month bills it was 15.696 per cent, down from 15.905 per cent at the last issue on 19 June. The central bank, which sells the bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, sold the same amount it had offered. From ahramonline
