KPC announces Butane gas prices

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Thursday announced its February prices for Propane and Butane gas, with both showing drops compared to January. KPC put Propane and Butane at USD 910 per metric ton, down USD 45 from USD 955. Propane and Butane prices are affected by fluctuations of the crude oil market, and the value of the US dollar also weighs on pricing, along with geopolitical factors and natural disasters. The two gases are used in the petrochemical industry, in cooking, in heating, and other areas.
