Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced on Thursday that it is to hold the 2nd golf tournament for its customers of international companies in the period February 10-12 at Sahara Golf Resort in Kuwait. The success of the first tournament, held in 2012 in Kuwait by KPC's international marketing sector, was behind the motive of holding a second tournament as it had a significant role in strengthening relations with main customers, Nabil Bouresli, Managing Director of the International Marketing Sector at KPC, said in a press statement. Bouresli added that the tournament is KPC's biggest historical meeting with its customers in Kuwait as it will include several cultural and social activities that will be organized in conjunction with Kuwait's National Day's celebrations in order to give KPC's guest an opportunity to review Kuwait's landscape. Also, he pointed out that invitations were sent to leaderships of oil companies in the United States, Europe, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, and others to participate in the event. In addition, Bouresli asserted that organizing the tournament of the second time reflects KPC's futuristic vision as it seeks to expand at promising markets, noting that the corporation is keen on boosting Kuwaiti economic relations with capitals of international oil companies around the world, as well as strengthening KPC's international reputation and place.
