The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up USD 0.05 to reach USD 111.30 per barrel (pb) on Thursday, compared to USD 111.25 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Friday. Global oil prices went up during yesterday's trading due to positive economic results in the United States, which showed a decline in welfare claims throughout last week despite the current debt crisis in the country.
