Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh named Abbas Sheri Moqqadam as managing director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC). "Replying to a suggestion by the NPC’s board of directors and regarding the Parliament’s legislations on tasks and powers assigned to the Oil Minister, you are appointed as managing director of NPC and deputy oil minister for petrochemical affairs," Zanganeh said in his decree. In a separate letter, Zanganeh thanked Abdolhosain Bayat for his services as the former NPC’s managing director.
