Crude oil opened lower Tuesday in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Crude oil trading opened at $95.09 a barrel and dipped to $94.60 during early trading. Henry Hub natural gas began the session up, opening at $4.283 per million British thermal units before rising to $4.32 in early trading. Home heating oil opened at $3.0838 a gallon before falling to $3.0641 in early trading. Gasoline began the session at $3.067 a gallon before dipping to $3.0461 in early trading. At the pump, the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.636, up from Monday's average of $3.631, AAA reported.
