The Minister of Petroleum Engineer Makkawi Mohamed Awad has called on the French companies to oil investment in Sudan, asserting that Sudan doors are open before French oil companies.
This came when he met at office Wednesday with the French Ambassador to Sudan where his discussed with him the available opportunities for oil investment in the country and the conditions of work in the oil sector.
The minister briefed the ambassador on the climate of work in the oil sector, welcoming the desire of France to invest in oil exploration and services, stressing importance of benefiting from French technical and technological capabilities.
The French Ambassador, meanwhile, emphasized that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the opportunities available in to inform the French companies about them to make them invest in oil sector in Sudan.
