Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) showcased some of its industry-leading expertise at the 18th Middle East Oil & Gas Show and Conference (MEOS 2013) in Bahrain, said a company release. The event took place under the patronage of Prince Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom, and had the theme of "Transforming the Energy Future." PDO presented six technical papers on key topics such as seismic reservoir monitoring, fluid rock characterisation, reservoir modelling and field development. Suleiman al Mantheri, PDO's External Affairs and Communication Manager, said: "MEOS 2013 was a fantastic platform for Petroleum Development Oman to highlight and share some of the exciting and pioneering work we are doing in our core business area of hydrocarbon production. "At the same time, it offered us the chance to learn from other oil and gas companies who may be facing similar challenges and opportunities."
