Russian oil exports dropped 3.5% in the first half of 2014 year-on-year to $81.068 Billion, an Itar-Tass report said Wednesday citing the Russian Federal Customs Service data.
Exports contracted 5.2% to 109.75 million tonnes against 115.75 million tonnes a year earlier.
Oil mainly exported to the far abroad countries – $76.298 billion, 2.9% lower than a year before while revenue from supplies to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) dipped 12.1% to $4.768 billion.
Gazprom gas export revenue increased 4.5% year-on-year to $33.508 Billion in the first half of 2014. The Russian gas major boosted gas export 7% to 99.4 billion cubic metres.
Natural gas export to the far and near abroad increased 3.4% to 69 billion cubic metres and 16% to 30.4 billion cubic metres respectively.
