The Minister of Oil Engineer Makkawi Mohamed Awad reviewed, at office Thursday, with the French Ambassador in Khartoum the available opportunities of oil investment and conditions of work in petroleum sector in Sudan.
The minister extended inclusive briefing on the climate of work in oil sector in Sudan, welcoming France desire to invest in the domain of oil exploration and petroleum services, referring to the importance of benefiting from French technical and technological capabilities in this regard.
The State Minister at the Ministry of Oil Hatim Abual-Gasim said that the doors of Sudan would remain open before the French oil companies to work in Sudan.
The French ambassador, meanwhile, affirmed that the purpose of the meeting was to get informed about the available opportunities of oil investment in Sudan in order to convey them to the French companies to enable them to take them.
