Turkey wants to incorporate 5-6 cubic meters Turkmen natural gas into TANAP project, said Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz in Ashgabat on Wednesday. Yildiz, who went to Ashgabat for the international Nowruz festival and was welcomed by his counterpart Yagsgeldi Kakayew in Ashgabat International Airport, mentioned about the energy cooperation between Turkey and Turkmenistan. He stated that Europe seeks to vary its natural gas resources for supply and emphasized that it is in need to clarify how the Turkmen natural gas could be included within the TANAP project. Yildiz said that Turkey wants 5-6 cubic meters Turkmen natural gas to be included in the TANAP project, which was published in the official gazette on Tuesday.
