About 30,000 worshipers performed the late prayer of the 29th night of the holy month of Ramadan at the State's Grand Mosque. Director of the Grand Mosque Saad Al-Hajji said in a press statement that "this religious event was a success due to an exceptional organization done by all participating governmental and civil institutions." He lauded the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs for organizing the late night prayers on the last ten days of Ramadan by providing all means necessary to ensure ease and comfort for all mosque-goers.
