The Arab Thought Foundation on Wednesday held a meeting, preparatory to its annual conference due in the UAE in December, with the agenda addressing the wide-spread issue of youth unemployment. Dr. Fawaz Al-Husainan, the assistant undersecretary of the Youth Affairs Ministry, said in a statement agenda of the meeting deals with creating jobs for the young, enacting laws intended to back up the youth as well finding work at an international level, in coordination with the US space agency, NASA. Conferees are discussing with realistic and scientific methods means of creating jobs for the youth for service of the State of Kuwait, he said, noting the ministry efforts at this level. The envoy of the foundation in Kuwait, Alaa Al-Saeedi, said the one-day meeting was aimed at finding 20,000 jobs for the young in Kuwait. The meeting is prelude to the annual foundation meeting, due to be hosted by the UAE on December 4-5. The foundation is a non-profitable international organization aimed at promoting the Arab identity and investing money in intelligence promotion
