Minister Mohamed mokhtar gomaa
Cairo - MENA

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa ordered on Monday the formation of an ad-hoc committee to inspect rare manuscripts in the ministry's headquarters.

The move came in coordination with Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damati.

In a press release, Awqaf Ministry said the committee will immediately work on inspecting the chamber where the documents are stored.

The committee will also follow up procedures taken to inspect some manuscripts in order to support Egypt's stance against British authorities in order to restore other Egyptian manuscripts.
