The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) will on Thursday inaugurate the English version of the "Sound and Light" project at the Qala’at Al-Bahrain site at 6:00 pm.
The "Sound and Light" Project tells the story of the civilisations hosted by Bahrain throughout history through a live moving audio visual experience which will take the audience in a guided journey from the present into the past, and back. It will add an aesthetic dimension to the Qala’at Al-Bahrain, the first archaeological site in Bahrain to be designated as one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.
The Arabic version of the project will be presented again on January 13 at 6:00 pm.
The project was first launched within BACA’s events to celebrate Bahrain’s National Days last December, and in conclusion of the "If Our Monuments Could Speak" Year during which BACA celebrated Bahrain’s heritage in 2017.
