President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikh Mai bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa today discussed with Russian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vagif Garayev, 2017 joint cultural projects.
The BACA President commended the ambassador’s efforts to boost bilateral cultural relations.
The meeting tackled the BACA’s Dilmon Exhibition to be held at the Hermitage Museum of Saint Petersburg, as well as the Russian ballet show Romeo and Juliet scheduled to be hosted by Bahrain on Nov. 12, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of Bahrain National Theater.
The Russian Ambassador handed an invitation over to the BACA President to the 2017 St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum. He lauded Bahrain’s keenness on enhancing cultural exchange with the world.
