The Ministry of Culture has organized a reception at the Bahrain pavilion at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2013 being held in London. Minister of Culture, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, met there with a number of journalists and travel and tourism companies to familiarize them on Bahraini tourism and the experience of Manama as the capital of Arab tourism for the year 2013. Culture Minister said that the Bahraini participation in this international forum targets conveying the real image of Bahrain and its culture and to exchange cultural experiences with other countries of the world. Representatives of Bahrain travel and tourism sector, including Gulf Hotel, Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Sofitel Hotel, Rami Hotel, Bahrain Airport Company, Golden Tulip Hotel, Alfarhat International Tourism and Travel Agency, Regency Intercontinental Hotel, Elite Hotels Group, the Bahrain International Circuit and TTN magazine, have participated in the WTM 2013 out of their keenness to showcase the domestic experience and to play role in attracting tourists and investment into the country. The participants hailed the Culture Minister's efforts in bolstering Bahrain's international presence and as a tourism destination.
