The College of Command and Staff in Egypt hosted a ceremony marking Bahrain’s National Day. The event was attended by College director Lieutenant-General Abdulmonam Abdulhameed Imam, Arab League Assistant Secretary-General for Arab Affairs and National Security Khalil Ibrahim Al-Thawadi. Also present were Bahrain’s Acting Ambassador Abdulrahman Hashim, Arab League Advisor Ahmed Al-Mershad, in addition to Major Mesha’al Al-Hajeri and Major Mubarak bin Turki, who study at the College of Command and Staff.
The ceremony featured a presentation on the history of Bahrain, the ruling system, the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) and landmark development strides under the reform process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. The College of Command and Staff director addressed the ceremony hailing outstanding bilateral relations and the honourable standard of Bahraini students.
