Thirty five glass paintings, reflecting the feelings of a Muscovite woman who has lived in Damascus for twenty years are displayed at the Russian Cultural Center's gallery. Various the visual variations on the percentages of light and color, Vanda Lechenyova tries to combine the values of the Syrian and Russian cultures on the surface of glass pictures, using strong and warm colors. Artist Lechenyova said that her work on glass comes as a completion of her artistic project which started more than seven years ago. The exhibition continues until the 11th of October in at Damascus-based Russian Cultural Center's Gallery. Artist Lechenyova is a civil engineer. She graduated from Moscow University in 1987. She has held several art exhibitions.
