Egyptian-Georgian cultural cooperation witnessed a boost in the last period, the Georgian ambassador in Cairo said.
In statements Tuesday, Archil Dzuliashvili said issuing the Arabic version of the Knight in the Panther’s Skin - the Georgian national epic - by poet Shota Rustaveli during the 47th Cairo International Book Fair is cogent proof of the development in bilateral cultural ties.
He thanked Chairman of the General Egyptian Book Organization (GEBO) Hitham el Hag and the Ministry of Culture for their efforts to issue the book, noting that Georgia is marking the 850th anniversary of publishing this poem.
