Egyptian minister, CIFF president discuss preparations for 37th session

Culture Minister Abdel Wahed el Nabawi on Monday met with President of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) to discuss preparations for the 37th session.
The minister said that the CIFF is one of Egypt's most important soft powers that reflects the country's civilization and culture through cinema.
The late actress Faten Hamama's name will be honored during the festival.
The meeting also dealt with supporting the festival's budget and solving the problem of displaying advanced digital films.
