Eid charity in Qatar sends urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza strip

Sheikh Eid bin Mohammad Al Thani Charitable Association is to send urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza strip at an estimated cost of QR1.9 mn    
The humanitarian aid is expected to reach Gaza Strip on Friday, which benefit five thousand families ,who are affected by the ongoing Israeli aggression, said the association in a statement.
A food basket for a family worth QR238 per month . The association calls on benefactors to provide humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip.
The association has received calls from the people of Gaza, especially from medical organs as field hospitals are experiencing a severe shortage of medicines by 30 or 50 percent, the statement added.
The Gaza Strip had been attacked by Israeli air strikes , killing tens of martyrs and injuring hundreds as well as the destruction of homes and property.
