Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, has said that UAE Flag Day celebrations reflect the true feelings of unity, loyalty, pride and solidarity among the people of the UAE.
The celebrations have a special value as it coincides with the anniversary of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's accession to the Presidency.
In a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, Al Kaabi said, "The celebrations are a true expression of belonging to the homeland, which we all love and continue to raise and protect, and there is no doubt that these principles and values are embodied in our leadership."
Al Kaabi expressed her pride in the participation of all citizens and residents in the UAE with the initiative of The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to mark Flag Day on 2nd November, in various governmental, local and private institutions. "The goal is to emphasise that our flag is the symbol of our existence, unity and national identity. It is a symbol of the ambitions and hopes of the UAE people in various fields at local and international forums," she added.
