Hamdan bin Rashid receives Palestine's mufti and preachers

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance received tonight at Zabeel Palace, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine and al-Aqsa Mosque preacher.
Sheikh Hamdan was briefed from Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine on the latest development at al-Aqsa Mosque and Israeli settlers' repeated attacks on the Mosque on daily bases and their assault on the worshipers to force them not to pray in the mosque.
Sheikh Ekrima Sabri extended thanks and appreciation to the U.A.E.'s President, government and people for their supportive stances for the Palestinian people in Jerusalem in particular and the Palestinian territories in general, praising the country's humanitarian initiatives towards the Palestinians to preserve their land and the sacred places.
A number of officials attended the meeting.
