Nouakchott - MENA

A high turnout was reported on the Egyptian book fair in the Mauritanian capital as most of Mauritanians are very interested to read on everything related to Egypt, director of the fair Mohamed Mahmoud told MENA on Monday. All books covering criminal and constitutional law and economy have been already sold, he said. Mauritanian students also bought books talking about Islamic jurisprudence and principles of Arabic language, he added. There is also an unprecedented turnout on books covering human development and children-related issues, Mahmoud said. As many as 18 Egyptian publishing houses are taking part in the fair.
