Jewish people celebrate Yom Kippur

All cities in Israel have become ghost towns as people are either at home or in synagogues to celebrate the greatest Jewish festival Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement). Flights, TV and radio stations came to a halt in the country where main roads are also closed by police due to the most sacred days in Judaism. Yom Kippur started on Friday 13 September and it will end Saturday night.
