Katara, the Cultural Village General Manager Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti met here today with Japan's Ambassador to Qatar Kenjiro Monji to discuss the current and future cultural relations between the two countries. The main aim of the meeting is hosting joint cultural events in the future to promote the different elements of the Japanese culture in Qatar. The two sides reviwed a dual cooperation between Katara and the Embassy of Japan celebrates the long lasting relationship which will ultimately allow for the initiation of various cultural events in Katara. Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Manager of Katara commented: "We are extremely delighted to be partnering with the Embassy of Japan to promote the various components of Japanese Culture here in Katara. This collaboration permits us to celebrate and further build upon our existing strong relationship with Japan, he added. Katara will host a number of events and exhibitions to celebrate the diplomatic relations."(QNA)
