Anchiano - Arabstoday

Leonardo da Vinci's birthplace in Anchiano, Italy, was set to reopen Friday as a museum after undergoing a $1.5 million restoration project. Anchiano will serve as a tourist attraction for fans of the Renaissance man's work and will feature a hologram of Leonardo recalling stories from his life, Italy's ANSA news agency reported. Admission is free on Saturday and Sunday and will cost $2.50 after the weekend. Leonardo was born in Anchiano on April 15, 1452. He died May 2, 1519.
