Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, has praised the efforts of the UAE-Korean Friendship Committee, to enhance the friendship between the people of the UAE and Korea.

Al Kaabi highlighted the voluntary role played by the committee in promoting Emirati culture among Korean youth and educating them about the traditions and customs of the UAE.

She was also briefed about the future aspirations of the committee to promote Emirati culture among members of the Korean community in the country, in co-operation with embassies, universities and colleges.

Al Kaabi made her statements while meeting with the Board of Directors of the committee, at its pavilion at the Festival of Korean Culture 2017, hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.

Abdulrahman Naqi Al Bustaki, Media Advisor to the Committee, lauded the co-operation of Abdullah Saif Ali Al Nuaimi, UAE Ambassador to South Korea, and his embassy team, as well as for their unlimited support for the committee’s activities.
