The UAE Consulate in Erbil held a ceremony to launch the translation of two books into Kurdish 'My Vision: Challenges in the Race for Excellence' and 'Flashes of Thought: Inspired by a Dialogue at the Government Summit 2013' written by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and published under the names "Sorani" and "Kurmanji."
An audience of intellectuals attended the launch, which reflects the universal direction and future vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed. It also imparts leadership, administrative and educational lessons.
Sheikh Mohammed’s vision for development was praised by several Kurdish intellectuals who read the two books. The two titles are aimed at achieving excellence and enhancing the UAE’s economic development from the region to the world, with an emphasis on vital services as well as tourism, a knowledge-based economy, government management and innovative human resources.
In the two books, Sheikh Mohammed speaks about the excellence that Emiratis have sought to achieve since the founding of the nation, which enabled them to promote the UAE’s position on regional and international levels.
