Qatar’s Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage HE Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari visited today the Natural History Museum in the British capital. HE the Minister toured the various sections of the Museum where he was briefed on the contents of the museum, which is considered to be one of the largest natural history museums in the world. The museum includes different varieties and types of organisms in addition to a group of dinosaurs skeletons. It also contains more than 70 million items which are displayed through five groups, namely: botany, entomology, mineralogy, ancient biology and zoology. HE the Minister also toured the new hall, which was inaugurated three months ago, and includes a number of educational materials, cultural and artistic works as well as plants species and animal models. Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Hajri, Director of Youth and Activities Management said that the program is the culmination of the excellent relations between Qatar and the United Kingdom over the past decades, and confirms the mutual desire to strengthen ties of cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields
