The Advisory Council Cultural and Information Affairs Committee met today under its rapporteur Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Obeidan.
The Committee completed study of the two draft laws: 1- A draft law regulating private schools 2- A draft law regulating the practice of educational services.
The meeting was attended by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary-General of the Supreme Education Council Dr. Mohamed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi and Isam Mahmoud Abdul Ila, Legal Advisor at the Minister's Office.
HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary-General of the Supreme Education Council explained the viewpoint of the ministry on the two draft laws and responded to relevant inquiries of the Committee's members.
The Committee decided to furnish a report on the two draft laws to the Advisory Council.
