Chinese navy explorer Zheng He who visited the Central Java Province's port city of Semarang 600 years ago, built a mosque and set up a Chinese Muslim community in the city. The mosque was later turned into a temple by Semarang residents, now known as Sam Poo Kong with a huge Zheng He statue in its front.
