The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed that the occasion of the Kingdom's National Day is one of the dearest events in the Kingdom, pointing out that this day is engraved in the memory of history in which founder late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud united this great entity and was able with his wisdom and statesmanship to change the course of history; and he united a nation and founded a great state committed to its religious values, heritage, protection of tolerant Islamic religion, and adoption of Islam as an approach and a way of life until it became a haven for Muslims.
This came in a speech during the Minister's patronization of the launch of events of Saudi Cultural Days in the German capital of Berlin yesterday evening.
He said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has founded a reform approach which undoubtedly formed the mainstay of each development projects and renaissance in all fields, as well as his call for dialogue among followers of religion, the dissemination of Islamic tolerant concepts, and the fight against terrorism and extremism.
