Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, and Chairman of Board of Trustees of King Fahd National Library chaired here today the second meeting of the Board in the presence of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister State, Cabinet's Member, and Chief of Crown Prince's Court and Special Advisor.
The Board discussed topics on its agenda including the opening of the Library, a report on the work of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees, and approval of the regulation of the Executive Committee.
The meeting approved the Library's adoption of the project of national intellectual production documentation electronically; the cooperation project between the Library and Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in building the Arab network at the university aiming to monitor and classify publishing channels issued in Arabic language; building Arab index content for citations of the Arab network;, and the Library's annual report and final account.
The Board of Trustees includes the following:

2- Minister of Culture and Information
3- President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology
4- Deputy Minister of Finance
5- General Supervisor of King Abdulaziz Public Library
6- Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Foundation
7- Secretary General of King Fahd National Library
8- Dr Fahd bin Abdulrahman bin Thinayyan Al-Obeikan
9- Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Nasser Al-Aqeel
10- Engineer Ali bin Saleh Al Sama'
11- Abdulrahman bin Ismail Tarabzoni
12- Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Dakhil
