Antoni Marti, the Head of Government of the Principality of Andorra, has received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE's Foreign Minister, who is currently visiting Andorra.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Marti reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in all fields. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.
The UAE Foreign Minister stressed that the UAE is keen to enhance cooperation with Andorra in all areas of common interest. He also commended the steady growth of bilateral relations in all fields.
Marti, Head of the Andorra Government, said the investment environment being offered by the UAE has attracted investments, making the country a major trade hub in the region and destination for the world's major companies. He also wished continuing progress and success to the UAE in all fields.
Marti noted that the UAE is the first country outside the EU to sign the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement.
Gilbert Saboya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra, and Dr. Hessa Abdullah Al Otaiba, UAE's non-resident Ambassador to Andorra, also attended the meeting
