His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Frederick Smith, President and CEO of FedEx Corporation, at Al Bahar Palace on Tuesday.

Welcoming Smith, the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince praised the growth of FedEx in the region and its interest in expanding operations in the UAE while benefiting from the country’s economic strengths and advanced infrastructure. The American multinational, specialising in courier delivery services, has been operating in the UAE for nearly 25 years.

Smith informed His Highness Sheikh Mohamed about the company’s latest, integrated industry solutions that would spur economic growth and support the rapidly growing business sector in the region.

He said that the company, with operations in more than 200 countries, is committed to meeting the increasing demand from its customers.
