Arab League chief Nabil el Arabi met with Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, on Monday in Geneva.

They discussed the human rights issues in the Middle East specially in the Palestinian territories amid ongoing Israeli violations, the pan-Arab body said in a statement.

They also discussed human rights violations in Yemen, Syria, Libya and Iraq, the statement said.
