Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abo Al Ghait met today with Yemen's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Abdulmalik Al Mekhlafi.
They discussed the latest developments in Yemen. Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Al Mekhlafi said that they also discussed efforts being made to return to a political resolution in Yemen. He added that the legitimate Yemeni government understands that dialogue was the only real solution, so long as it is in the context of the GCC initiative and the outcomes of the national dialogue as well as UN Security Council resolutions such 2216
