Arab League secretary meets UN envoy for Yemen in Kuwait
UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed

Arab League Secretary General Nabil el Araby on Monday night had a meeting with UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed on the sidelines of peace consultations hosted by Kuwait since April.
During the meeting, the UN envoy posted Araby on progress made so far in the peace consultations and efforts exerted to reach a peaceful settlement to the Yemeni crisis in accordance with international references.
The AL secretary is currently on an official visit to Kuwait. He is scheduled to meet Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah and a number of senior Kuwaiti officials on the occasion of the end of his term in office as the AL Secretary General.
